these are the palettes im going to use
     


    1: choose a base
    2: Take the darkest color
    3: Begin with drawing lines
    4: Remove those extra pixels



    5: fill it with the middle color(#3)



    6: take the darkest color again(#1)
    7: add some thicker lines, so it looks like folders



    8:make some "outlines" around the thicker lines
    by using the next darkest color(#2)



    9_:make some highlights in the folders by using the lightest color(#4)
    (The highlights should be in the middle color)



    10: now add the brighter color(#5)


The skirt can now be finished but you can add some pattern like im doing

Since im using psp 7 im using layers
and therfor make a new one here just for the pattern




    11: draw some lines you like to use for pattern
    for me im using this one :
    12: copy and paste and the pattern until you feel you are finished



    13: take the middle color and add some lighter in the folders
    where you have lighter



    14: repeat it again but this time use the lightest goldcolor
